Calcium hydroxide suspension

CALXYL^®-suspension is used for desinfection of the root canal. The suspension ensures by osmosis that most of the infected dentinal tubules are included, even if the small root canals are infected, ramified and difficult to access. The powerful, long-lasting effect is due to calcium alkalisation of the tissue while preserving the periapical tissues.

CALXYL^®-suspension is especially suitable for iontophoresis, since there is no cauterisation as is the case in soda lye flooding. Also used as bodying agent of CALXYL^®.

Indications:
Used instead of NaOH for syringing root canals, syringing through fistulas for iontophoresis.
